Printed T-Shirt Care Guide

Simple care helps preserve the fabric, colors, and printed artwork of your favorite T-shirt.

Five simple care steps

Follow these recommendations to help your printed T-shirt look its best for longer.

Wash Inside Out

Turn the shirt inside out before washing to reduce friction against the printed artwork.

Wash Cold

Use cold water at approximately 86°F / 30°C and select a gentle washing cycle.

Use Mild Detergent

Choose a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and fabric softener.

Air Dry When Possible

Air drying is recommended. If needed, tumble dry using the lowest heat setting.

Avoid Direct Heat

Never iron directly over the print. Do not dry clean the garment.

Before washing
  • Turn the T-shirt inside out.
  • Separate dark and light garments.
  • Wash with similar colors and soft fabrics.
  • Avoid washing with items containing zippers, hooks, or rough surfaces.
Washing
  • Machine wash cold at approximately 86°F / 30°C.
  • Use a gentle or delicate washing cycle.
  • Use a mild detergent in the recommended amount.
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Avoid soaking the garment for extended periods.
Drying
  • Air dry the T-shirt whenever possible.
  • Hang or lay the garment flat away from direct sunlight.
  • If using a dryer, select the lowest available heat setting.
  • Remove the shirt promptly when the drying cycle finishes.
  • Avoid excessive heat, which can damage both the fabric and print.
Ironing
  • Do not iron directly over the printed artwork.
  • Turn the shirt inside out before ironing.
  • Use a low-temperature setting.
  • Place a clean cotton cloth between the iron and garment when needed.
Storage and long-term care
  • Store the T-shirt only after it is completely dry.
  • Fold it with the printed area facing outward or lying flat.
  • Avoid leaving the garment in direct sunlight.
  • Do not dry clean.
